Open Lecture: The Design of a Decision

  • CIID 37 Toldbodgade København K, 1253 Denmark (map)

Interaction designers and their teams make thousands of decisions over the life of a project, both large and small. All too often, these teams suffer because it’s not exactly clear how decisions get made, and when to involve people in the design process. In this open lecture, we'll share road-tested approaches for how designers and their teams can make better decisions together at critical moments through the design process—and how to foster productive (dis)agreement to improve design quality, no matter what type of product or service your working on. This is a sneak peek of content from our next book, Turning People Into Teams: Habits, Rituals, and Routines That Redesign How We Work (out Oct ’18 from Berrett-Koehler Publishers), and will be delivered as part of CIID's Open Lectures series.
